some of my best memories are at coffeeshops

it's at the kopitiam where relationships are formed; its where they're sealed

it's at the ny coffeeshop where i met with mr.smith (back in the day) for our weekly fix where we always ordered the same thing.

it's at the sgoon interchange coffeeshop where Rhubz and i adjourned to after school to sip milo ice and just talk (we made that one glass last and last and last haha)

it's at the broadway coffeeshop in potong pasir where i've had many a ban mien bowl with su and ven. for lunch, linner/dunch, tea. post lit lecture (those were laaate in the afternoon). during both good and bad times (bad times brought about by stress ah. you know, the pre-prelims, prelims,A's, what have you)

it's at the coffeeshop at AMK where jas luv intro-ed me to my first ever botak jones meal and i've never looked back since. (they closed that outlet jas :( ) to all of you out there who havén't tried botak's, you don't know what you're missing out on!!!

it's at Athar coffeeshop on yio chu kang road (just before the turning into rosyth road) where my family and i have had many a late night supper. i've been going there since i was a wee lass. the sign may have changed to THE PRATA SHOP,the floor may be alot cleaner and they might have added masala tea to their drinks menu (its a solid masala tea btw), but that's our beloved athar through and through.

its at the pow sing coffeeshop in (serangoon) gardens (the one with the muffins netta) where my dad and i have had sunday lunch staple, i.e. prawn mee/chicken rice. just us. no bros or momma's involved.

tekka food çentre though, is WINNN. (its sort of a massive coffeeshop lah) it's where i first learnt how to order indian rojak (thank you jagmeister). its where i've had one of my most memorable lepak sessions with any human being (that's you diana). there's this ONE table near the SAME indian rojak stall where i always end up with my family or different groups of friends..its always mysteriously unoccupied and has just enough seats.

coffeeshops are an integral part of my life. they're one reason why i WOULDN'T leave xin jia po.

(but no, i will not leave the house with flip flops on unless its to travel somewhere in the sgoon vicinity. athar, gardens included)

don't ask. just know that my mum's camera has the weirdest functions. and i was not ready to be photographed so excuuuuse me.
