Í've never actually felt this emotionally attached to a song before.with something like Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve, its not so much the lyrics but the violins that give me goosebumps. ok the chorus desrves credit. but everytime i hear that song, i'm taken to a higher place.
and Fix you by coldplay is another song that's done that for me too. there was point of time earlier this year where this song was SO fitting for my life. as in EXACTLY word for word, fitted the description. i guess the only person who fixed me was chris martin, if not i would've you know, lost it. sometimes it made me cry when i heard it but i played it on a loop anyways cos it just took away the pain and soothed me.(its like what you said SENOR SK).
oh well, the power of music.and fantastic lyrics.which actually make sense. unlike something as shallow and as depreciating of womankind as "i'll take you to the candyshop, i'll let you bla bla" oh you know the rest.
Fix You - Coldplay
When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
Just what you're worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I
Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.
