emma's shoes

i talked about emma's style in one of my recent blog entries and i chose a pic of a pair of converses that she's worn time and again. that's why they look well worn-in. but aren't they the coolest shoes you've ever laid eyes on?

i was supposed to get high tops when i went to get my new pair of converses during deepavali but settled on the plain black classic trainers with the union jack sewn on to the back portion of the shoe. there was the option of the italian flag also, but being a great fan of all things british, i went with the red white and blue.

the thing about me and shoes is that i've learnt to choose shoes carefully so that they're not just used one time, cos i HATE when that happens. especailly for my clothes. but anyways, my robert pires royal blue and white pumas have served me well since i first got them 2 years back. and my previous pair of black chuck taylors have been with me since primary 5. but they got too mangled and beat up to wear anymore. and this pair of indian looking slippers i have that i got from robinsons when i was in primary 6 have are still in usable condition and go with all my punjabi suits or indian outfits. yay shoes!
