what's a Wonderwall anyway?

YEAH BABY. it won't be long before August 17th aka the chelski's season opener against Portsmouth (with Diarra, ex-Blue who is doing really well at Pmouth haha).

char! just got this pic from this week's newsletter..i love the blue highlights woo. its just as nifty as Jean's camera function which picks out certain colours and leaves everything else in black n white.

To my telepathic twin (aka sista from anotha motha/MEOW! as auds says)- hopefully the akan datang footie season will take your mind off the awesomeness that was PATD at singfest and allay the withdrawal syptoms :P and hopefully LP will decide to return sooner than later and we can go for the gig and sing along to every lyric HO YEAH.

To JT:

O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills;
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths—for you the shores a-crowding;
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;

-an excerpt from Walt Whitman's "O Captain! My Captain", which you might recognize if you watched dead poet's society

it may have been written as an elegy (the full poem) but i see it more as a tribute to he who fell and who shall rise from heartbreak and hamartia. in the wise words of kanye, "Tha-tha-tha-that that don't kill me, can only make me stronger"

and after that dose of lyricism and uh..hip hop, all i can say is..

COME ON CHELSEA!!

and there was also this pic of lamps somewhere in the mix (of the same newsletter) which i thought was lovely. stamford bridge + lamps doing what he does 2nd best+ glorious sunlight.

there's something transcendental and timeless about black and white pictures, no?

this studying biznaz is testing my (dynamo of) volition. all i want to hear at the end of the day is "good job" (get em way up high, gimme gimme that high five) -i hope got the lyrics right JH ;)
