his dressing has gotten loads spiffier from grunge/band tees to shirts, skinnies and coats. they've grown up eh! i think they wear dior homme nowadays ;) and their music has grown too. they dont have the turntablist i remember from the shinobi vid..oh wait, maybe that's jamie. dj-ing plus rock music is damn nu-metal sial. foo.

i'm talking about ian watkins of lostprophets who are FKIN RAD live.

he sang the chorus bit of rick astley's Never Gonna Give You Up at one point *kowtows*

and was destroyed by awesomest moustache he's ever seen of random fan in audience. No ian, you're still cool.

their setlist was concise and power packed for lack of a less anjack term. 4AM Forever, Can't Catch Tomorrow, Rooftops, Last Train Home, Burn Burn, Town Called Hypocrisy, Last Summer, hold on- i can't remember if they played Wake Up (make a move) or not..they couldn't not have right?? :\ and the one track that i die die wanted to hear aka the song that got me hooked on them in the first place- Shinobi Vs Dragon Ninja *up the irons* PHWOAR. that was an engulfedinrockglory goosebumps moment.

and fran healy is god-like
and has issues with "taupy" souding guitars, which is completely warranted.
and has a charming sing-song scottish brogue.

they started the set with a Sound of Music track!- Do re mi WHAZAAP JULIE ANDREWS IN THE HIZOUSEE!!!

and he has mad vocals too (travis are incredible live-FK YEAH it feels so good to say that)
and he managed to make the whole crowd Pogo to Why Does It Always Rain On Me
No "R-e-s-p-e-k-t" from all the idiots on the veranda who didn't get up off their arses even upon the insistence of Mr Healy
