i felt quite honoured to see a master, of sorts, at work. it was fascinating, watching the process of the creation of a shot. the way he worked, i can only describe it as fluid, really..and how he drew the best out of the models (even though they weren't exactly willing to give)..i want to know what makes him tick. the casual atmosphere, "homophobia iz gay" reminders to self and honest, oh brutally honest convos with vennie- what a day.
(you know what ven, lyle & scott sounded so familiar cos its a golf brandd lar! alamak. but one from back in the day)

Le studio:
all through the shoot,there was music, GLORIOUS music. travis- loads of travis!, smashing pumpkins, coldplay, a Police cover, The Who, Madonna; it was a "geezus! that's my playlist!" moment. i fell in love right there and then (with music, who is my boyfriend). from the other studio too, Bee Gees and the Trainspotting OST..AAAAHHH :D now that was an "OMFG i love these people cos they have f-brilliant taste in music"
speaking of people who should get nominated for a "Most likely to have the best taste in music" superlative on fb, 7h3v4r! yesss! need to watch a Travis gig..and an Interpol one. now that i've covered the north american disneylands, the grand canyon, Aragorn's cliff, Stamford Bridge and the Royal Mummies chamber (aka places to go before i head to the Grey Havens aka Valinor), i need to go for a proper, PROPER gig festival. one like Glastonbury. armed with a buncha mates, tents and a comfy pair of wellies.
and we could have tea from a thermos in between sets.
