Mr Thick, thick, thickity-thick-face from Thicktown, Thickania

big happy sigh...

they've started showing new(er) episodes of Doctor Who on BBC Prime at ungodly hours YAY!
its an entire season behind the UK (the Doctor's companion is now a black girl, Martha) but HELL its Doctor Who so i don't care! and i dont have to watch bits of badly ripped off episodes on youtube anymore wooot!

the show has a cult following in the UK having run for God knows how long and its into its tenth version of the Doctor played by the VERY charming David Tennant. He was the manic, lip-licking, toungue-flicking Barty Crouch Jr in Goblet of Fire (lolz) which was a laugh but yeah.i'd rather him in DW any day.

he's a much better Doctor than the guy before him (who only lasted for a season) firstly cos he is so damn cute and secondly because he has so much exuberance (and even childlike tendencies) which make him all the more lovable. he's a bit mad. love.

i remember the last thing Disha and I did together at the house before she left for school (while i stayed with The Subra's at Hertfordshire for a day during the uk trip earlier this year) was to watch her fave episode of DW on her laptop. She was actually all gushy over David Tennant! and this girl never gushes! well if your oldest friend in the world likes it, then you must accord the series the necessary respekt by watching it too, no? :)

with billie piper (aka Rose) and the time machine of a blue police box that's the Doctor's ride. She used to be a popstar..yes, teeny bopper kind of popstar. and i also remember her as the chick who dated my favourite member of the band 5ive (of "Baby when the lights go out fame") *runs and hides*

Personally what i love the most about the Doctor (beside his hair and slim, well-cut suits) is his choice to pair the outfit with sneakers *biggrin* how practical. how youthful. how shmexy.

and there's this pair of geek chic glasses he owns. yummmm

the episode this morning involved one Madame Du Pompadour and his travelling back to 18th Century France. It involved an uncharacteristically romantic plotline. Between the doctor and the madame ,with self sacrifice, snogging and all that thrown in..Doctor Who in love. How delightful *sighhh* I would call it a moderrn fairytale of an episode but then there's the tragedy of love lost by the end of the episode *heart breaking* :(

his love interest played by Sophia Moyles, is simply put, beautiful. its no wonder David Tennant himself hooked up with her and they're still going strong! :D what a lovely couple

so everyone, go watch Doctor Who for what miss stefani termed "The Sweet Escape"
