i missed the entire first 30 mins but hearing the live commentary on the BBC (88.9 fm)was FAR more exciting. you HAVE to visualise what's being said and sometimes your orientation goes all wonky cos you dunno for sure which way the ball is heading at the mo'. or maybe that's just the commentator doing a bad job.

siv, i passed by grapevine on the way home and the crowd was absolutely glooo-ed to the screen! you could've knicked all their wallets and not one would've noticed HAHA!

well anyways when i finally did get to watch it on the telly at home, it was 24 mins in. 5 mins later i was bored. 10 mins later, i was tempted to pick up the Straits Times and rifle through the pages instead.ok no not really. i texted Char instead HEE! even the dude who was controlling the camera shots was clearly bored. there was a good 10 seconds worth of the glorious blue sky over Wembley. yeah,just the sky. and that happened more than once throughout the match. that's how dull most of it was. Lemme put it this way. at one point of time, the ball possession was 50-50. -__-"

EXCEPT of course for those HEARTSTOPPING moments. football is not safe for heart patients. chels had more shots at goal, but also more of them were also off-target. win some, lose some **shrug** but still! Cech is demi-god i tell you! ferreira was so on form i was baffled. Terry will always be my hero. Essien made a coupla good clearances. i actually wished Sheva was playing. Ronaldo juggled the ball into hitting Makelele's right hand (you saw that too right?! baaaasket!) Lamps..i really truly was expecting greater things of him. but hey, his telepathic-powers controlled one-two passing with Drogs was damn Jedi ah. and that goal. THAT GOAL by drogba. what a stunner. with the deftest of touches..pah! in the net, no chance for Van Der Sar. that was all it took. knew it was in the bag already.

later today when you pick up the new paper, i promise you they'll be on about that Giggs no-goal. please lah his momentum pushed the ball over the line!

but still, winning champions league> premier league> FA cup.
