muse-induced hangover..
the last post was rather rubbishy, once i gave it a re-read. it used "awesome", "crazy'" and "fuckin" far too often..but yeah, that's what you get for a 1am post right after the fuckin crazy-awesomest concert of your 17years and 10 months on this blessed planet.

it was 3 songs short of my perfect setlist (refer to Wednesday 27th December 06 post). they didn't play City of Delusion (i was hoping for the live trumpet bit *shrug*), Hoodoo and Take A Bow(that would've been a really, REALLY perfect closer). hey whaddya know, all 3 tracks are off BH&R..i know they don't play Hyper Music very much but its got the bass of T.I.R.O and the added plus of frenzied and discordant guitar work..the intro is eardrum splitting though :\ it would've been nice if they'd thrown that in
there're loads of vids on youtube..all you gotta do is type in Muse Singapore, but most of them are too short or are of horrible quality. i'm gonna be selfish and not upload mine (mostly cos there's bits of my bad singing got recorded too :P) BUT, i can direct you to some high def vids available on stomp cast. excellent quality..they're not full performances though...pity...
but the common factor is that all vids picked up the distortion soaked, l33t guitar skillzzz of matt bel-lah-mee and his prancing around on stage. dom's drumming was spot on and it looked like he was whacking the sh*t out of his v pretty acrylic drum set. chris on the other hand was so..so poised and professional on bass
matt was the only one dressed for S'pore weather..dom and chris(plus TIE summore ..crazy bugger) were in black shirts and skinny jeans and CONVERSE ;) my sneakers got muddied and beat up so bad i should take a picture of them (still haven't washed em :P) but yeah, that's why i haven't been wearing em to school
p.s: i survived the mosh pit! *past self on back*. exchanged body fluids (sweat lah, what were you thinking?!) and um, inhaled enough 2nd hand smoke to give me cancer (okok i'm exaggerating) and got all sorts of nasty bumps and bruises on my body that i didn't realise i had until 3 days later -_-. BATTLESCARS!
p.p.s: dom in his exquisite accent- "Thank you Singapore! what a pleasure it is to see you for the first time"
and they have expressed interest in coming back...RIGHT ON! i'll be there baby!

T.I.R.O. is gonna be the new End Of The World song for you, rakshasaurus and me! I shall cry during the drums bit at "Buuuury it.." and we shall shout the chorus out as the sky falls down on us.
HAHA now you can hear Hysteria in the ad for next week's pbreak too. I can't watch the finale so try to stop me if i ask for details on friday :/ At all costssssss!
and we'll be doing those weird ass choreographed moves like the military people in the vid
