anyways, its better known as the Battle of Kadesh and that's Ramses II on the chariot. i saw Ramses II's mummy in the cairo museum by the way. in the "royal mummy room" HAHA! This dude is the megalomaniac of the ancient egyptian world. He has more surviing monuments to his name than any other pharaoh. and lemme just say that he really isn't that tall in person, his mummy I mean. i just checked wiki and it says he was 5' 7"..and that was tall by egyptian standards. but he was for famous for his lifespan..90+ years while the average lifespan was 30-35. he outlived his kids, and boy oh boy did he have tonnes of em.
but anyways back to the mummy. it was SURREAL being less than 5 inches away from the greatest king of his time, seperated only by glass. i hope to God i didn't end up pressing my face against the glass subconciously or something :P even though he was a _____-year old relic(sharamses help me out here), the familiarly haughty nose bridge was just..striking.
p.s: Muse's "Plug In Baby" intro riff was voted 13th on the top 20 greatest guitar riffs of all time.Bang on! the rest can be found here
