Flying high, up in the sky,
We'll keep the blue flag flying high
From Stamford Bridge to Wemb(er)ley
We'll keep the blue flag flying high
i know its a bit late but i just HAD to mention it. my first full 90 minute match in ages and did the boys deliver or what?! :D 4-1 baby...now THAT is what i called a demolition. especially since this was done with 10 men after maniche got sent off in the 17th minute. dang..that was sad. his first starting 11 lineup and he'd to get sent off :( thank you drogs(i still hate his guts though..cocky bastard), hernan(the argentinian god..i am so in love with his hair) and captain JOHNNEH!! amazing football..absolutely spellbinding stuff. that's what i call doubleplusgood (this is what happens when you've read too much of '1984') leadership and teamwork.
power quote of the week: "i'm more worried about birdflu than man u" :P:P:P and the best bit is that it rhymes!
today i spent 1 and a 1/2 hour break(most of the class was off having mother tongue lessons) doing my very last minute GP essay (which i had the WHOLE weekend and more, to do) while me mates were having an early lunch. i had the cheek and the nerve to do it while sitting at the table where the hip, young GP tutors always congregated for breakkie/brunch/lunch everyday.they could've very well gone to the staff tables to have their food ok? i was there first! *pouts* ok but the point is, the hot-indian-totally-metrosexual-beyond-belief gp tutor was there too and i was sooooo turned off after hearing him talk. -_- but he's still nice to look at. then i scarfed down fish and chips hoping that i'd be able to burn it off during after pe but noooo (i'll elabo on that later)
then at math, the tutor walked out of the LT cos we were being too erm..whats the word? ah yes..rambunctious. and she came back in 5 mins later. the 5 mins was for dramatic effect lah. but at least she came back and we FINALLY got row echelon wadsitcalled done. and i really really should look after my GC better...175 quid! its practically valuable!
and i've been meeting new peeps, old friends and finding out loadsa new things about my class peeps over the past coupla days..for example, i found out that my classmate ming tuan(mt) was from Rosyth also (!) there're palenty of rosythians in SA btw. then i met Khalid(a mat who doesnt look like a typical malay with supertight curls of afro-able hair)..who overheard me talking to MT about the chels and united matches and was super impressed cos he'd never met a female chelsea fan who did more than just drool over lamps..*facepalms* nehmind, nice guy. then i was intro'ed to the very famous Siva the school team soccer player/class chairman for a gajillion years running/NCC encik back in sec school/ sivakangai's friend from umar pulavar whom she kept telling me to look out for when i got to SA/dude whom everyone thought was malay but turned out to be indian. he was so shy that i couldn't even look at him when charlene was doing the lil "siva-anjali.anjali-siva" thing.. :P
oh yes..then there was PE. as i was saying, i was hoping to burn off my fish n chips but NOOO there were the track and field c'ship heats going on and our pe teacher made us do the timekeeping instead of any form of barely physically demanding activites..*facepalms again*. and then there's no cricket this week either so i'm gonna be doing minimal running..dang. i feel like a slob. hopefully, just hopefully, pe carries on as planned tmr and the bloody weather doesnt spoil things. agh. and i still believe that fbt shorts are INDECENT! but thats just my opinion.
and then i saw narothman at the s'goon interchange on the way home.yay! i've known the bugger since our pre-kindergarten aunty saro tamil tuition days(and to think, both our tamil speaking capabilities can be frowned upon) we only managed to talk about PW and golf before my bus came and i'd to leave. dang. and i SO need to get my handicap asap..
ok thats all
edit: there WAS cricket eventually(and morning pe happened too, so i did a good 3km worth of running on wednesday) and it was so effing fun, i felt sorry for those who didn't turn up. finally got down to sharpening our bowling and batting skills..did SO much throwing that my right arm hurts. bleah. and my swing with the cricket bat is too "golfy", in the words of one of the seniors. well too bad.. i golf.. don't hold it against me. but i'm working on it! no worries..
