days 3 and 4. and some stuff about ICS

wah..damn shacked man. its gonna be hard to squeeze in all that happened yesterday and today.

we spent the whole of yesterday in sentosa. MJC was there too. unfortunately didn't see any andersonian friends but i DID see a childhood friend. narothman. hadn't seen him in like four years so he was having trouble recognising me(i was having hi like a bloody idiot while he had a "who is this mad woman?" look on his face) so we got like one miserable opportunity to talk and gosh, its amazing how much a boy's voice would've changed in that time. turns out he ended up taking german as his second language. and i was like WTF where got such thing?! we used to go for the same tamil tuition for God's sake! and now he's completely not doing tamil. man. turns out there's a loophole in the system(but i shan't disclose it cos it'd take forever to explain). but the main thing was that we played like ELEVEN proper games in total, at the beaches and some other areas in sentosa. the place is infested with tourists who do REALLY stoopid poses. and people think that dancing around a tree in old bollywood movies is silly. puh-leese.

on the way to the harbourfront station on the shuttle bus, i was standing next to these two gay(gay as in really gay) guys, one indian and one chinese. their conversation was VERy interesting, i didn't mean to eavesdrop but we were literally packed liked sardines. a bus full of J1's and OGL's and just a handful of commoners. so anyways, coming back to the dudes.or should i say, dudettes. there was one OGL with us on the bus, haris, this very cute malay fella, whom they thought was gay .and i really wanted to point out that he was a bloody jock and a member of the track team.he's a guy's guy.. that sorta thing.the furthest thing from gay. but i controlled myself. anways, they were talking about leaving singapore and heading for UCLA. apparently they're currently in NUS. and when the indian dude asked the chinese guy what he intended to major in, he replied in this really typical steve sabados way(the dude from designer guys).."i like fashion(does girly hand gesture), or maybe even film.i'm up for anything really". the indian guy ,who was more practical, later on pointed out that they'd have to come back for reservist.and the chinese guy dismissed it with a lil girly flick and said,"oh i'm on the reserved list. as in, i'm special case"'. turns out, he pretended to be on the verge of depression and tried to do something to himself and he had to go to shrink and have therapy and all that. and cos of that,he managed to get out of NS. my God. i was half impressed and half aphalled. i thought it was a pretty good plan but i also thought "you bloody bastard. singapore's already so small and we need as many able-bodied men in our defence and here you are ponteng-ing just cos you aren't comfortable with your sexuality and you fear yoúr sexual oreintation is gonna change or something after you come out of NS". aargh. whats the big idea man! gay, butch, straight, wonky, brown, yellow, beng or smart ass.í dont care! i hate it when people try and take the easy way out >_<

ok enough about yesterday. today was the last day of orientation and we had a disco to end it off. some of the music choices..just made me go WHAT ARE YOU THINKING PLAYING THIS SONG?! like some techno shit and that dragostea din tei rubbish.and it's my life by bon jovi?! how're you supposed to dance to that? luckily there was some rihanna and BEP if not i would've walked out man. most people were being really silly and crazy and "high" as its called in NY. ok i think i'll stop there...

but before that disco thang, we were having OG time at one corner of the grandstand. and there were a whole load of indians (who looked MUCH older..like from poly and uni or something) practicing a dance routine to some dappanguthu song.i recognised some guys from the Puyal mag as the ex heads of the ICS.damn those people can dance! its like those ppl on tv..rameshwara and movesh and dang i forgot the rest. they're bloody pro! i think i was the only indian kid they'd seen among the J1's or something cos most of them like turned and followed my every movement as my OG walked past.its an indian thing lah..this staring nonsense. i returned the gesture with a big smile(which i hope did'n't look sarcastic or anything..sekali i kenah jacked by them). :D.

my first ICS meeting is next week.i'll prob end up in dance or something cos my fellow indian J1's will rat on me. but ireally dunno how we lot of 1st round orientation indians will be able to help in puyal if we're gonna be leaving as soon as mid-feb(thats when we get our results). as in, we can start off but will we be around long enough to actually perform? what if we move on to other schools? i really dunno man. note to self: if i see the ICS thalaivan Pratap(or something), i shall bring it up.

FORT MINOR'S COMING TO SINGAPORE!!!!!!!!!!
on march 1st! i HAVE to go. i mean, its mike shinoda for God's sakes! and some other dudes..haha.

ok thats enough for today.
