we will follow chelsea, over land and sea

I am SO BLOODY PROUD of our boys, Char. They didn’t roll over and die. They fkin tested barca. So to all of you who thought Barca were gonna pwn Chelsea Football Club at the Nou Camp, you are all haters.
Defensively, the Blues were SUPERIOR. Did you even get a glimpse of leo? Puhlease. The Barca attack, in general, was silenced. The three amigos up front and Xavi, Iniesta and Toure in midfield..got served. YOU GOT SERVED.
At this point I'd like to point out that I am drawn to teams that play a largely defensive game. Chelsea, esp under Mourinho, were constantly accused of playing boring football cos they'd win by one-goal margins/ 1-0 scorelines, cos they'd score and then defend x3 till the final whistle. They weren't attackers. It was an extremely consistent style of play. boring? Maybe. mechanical? perhaps. efficient? yes, definitely. that's why they won the fkin title back then. That's the way I like the team that I support to play. It's why I support Die Deutsche National Mannschaft as well (german efficiency extends to their footie as well ahhaha). Klinsi just brought out a bit more flair in them, just like Hiddink is doing for Chels. It's brilliant, the way Chelsea especially have matured in their game, this season. Especially after ALL the crap we've been through with the manager issues urgh. They are still delivering and getting the job done, and once again I have to say that I am so bloody proud of them.
don't get me wrong. Both teams play GREAT footie when they wanna. Unfortunately (wrt CFC), ppl (ie journos and bitter fans from rival teams) tend to focus on the negative, and how abramovich spoiled the market and blablablah. STUFF IT. at the end of the day it is about winning. strategy, tactics and execution. Passion and heart are not compromised on.

Like I was explaining to aanesh early this morning, the win for Chelsea is So important because it is a chance for retribution. Moscow 2008, Never Forget. Because of what happened last year, Chelsea will be the club with more of a desire to win.
I will personally never forget it because it is the day my heart broke, and I knew it was broken because I was miserable for days after and I did a lot of emo posts and I cried alot cos JT was getting so much flak, and i felt TERRIBLE for him and the team. "So close yet so far. Almost." Yes, i think that’s what love is. That's when I realised that I probably wouldn’t react this way over any other club. That’s when it was crystallised that I’m a Chelsea fan.

I want Chelsea to win the Champions League SO BAD.
I want them to win so I can tell all Manchester United fans to GET BENT. IN YOUR FACE. SHOVE IT. And to top it all off, a big fat FK YOU. I have had ENOUGH of being civil about it. Can you tell?
For all their smack talk and disrespecting, which GENUINELY infuriates me, to the point that I wanna scream COMMIE BASTARDS or something in their face to make myself feel better, I PRAY that Chelsea win the semifinal and then the finals, of the Champions League.

Sadly Chelsea are out now but not disgraced. I don't mean to detract from Barca's achievement but it took a one-eyed referee to secure them a place in the final. How can a top class UEFA ref miss three valid penalty appeals?
