Secondly, an incoherent, messed up review of the proceedings.

  1. The stage was damn nice..the lighting was gorgeous and made Liam look all powerful and Lord Liam-like. Oh, and the background was like this charcoal colour velvet curtains..beautiful.
  2. Liam is such a w*nker.
  3. Noel is god-like. Plus he wore WHITE PANTS, ho yeah.
  4. The brothers didn't even look at each other throughout the entire concert..its ridiculous. I don't understand how a creative partnership can exist with such a volatile, constantly feuding relationship.
  5. Liam kept balancing his tambourine on his head with his back facing the crowd. LOL WTF MATE?!?! Mr. Tambourine Man. He eventually threw it into the crowd and the lucky fker who caught it was from the group of indons who were sitting infront of us in the line outside the stadium.
  6. Speaking of which, we were in line from 5 plus..spent such a long time waiting, and with such good company, that I didn't even take not of what time the concert actually started. We did everything from watch Monty Python on Hossain's Itouch, to forgetting to buy makan before we got there (hence we had to pay 6 bucks for a bag of Lays -__-).
  7. I was the only idiot in the group to wear an Oasis shirt. Which is a damn wh*re thing to do :P Everyone else was wearing a beatles/ radiohead/ franz ferdinand shirt.
  8. Everyone who entered the standing pen had to get bag checked twice, metal detected AND patted down. oh kaaaaay.
  9. We got standing spots RIGHT next to the barricade that ran down the middle, so Sinders and I had an awesome view of Noel, Liam and 'jesus' the keyboardist. All i wanted to see was Noel anyways :p Liam can fk off lah. Can't stand him.
  10. When Noel was doing Don't Look Back in Anger, towards the end, the marshalls wheeled out a wheelchair past him and down the centre. He noticed it and went "What's the fockin wheelchair for?...*pauses and cranes neck to see what's going on*..."Somebody havin a stroke?" HAHAHHAAA..wtf Noel?!
  11. After which Karthik proceeded to shout out "THE STROKES!! Play Last Nite" and actually started singing it until Sindhu ribbed him and told him to stfu HAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D
  12. Everytime the crowd started chanting Oasis, karthik and jheevs chanted "Radiohead" instead, thus causing me to erupt in a fit of laughter and tears. FKING FUNNNYY!!! :D
  13. They didn't do Live Forever like they did at the concert in Seoul :( :( oh COME ON. I thought I was on a streak, having my favourite songs performed at concerts I attend :(
  14. They performed I Am the Walrus as their closing song. Fkers trying to be The Beatles lah! Hossain, one of the biggest beatles fans I know, in his review of the concert on the steps of the indoor stadium later that night, proceeded to say that that was the best written song of the night. Of course :)
  15. FK YOU LIAM, YOU ARE NOT LENNON so BUZZ OFF.
  16. I dunno what the turnout was like, but it looked like they were STILL selling tix on the day. Whereas Coldplay sold out in like, 11 hours? PWNED.
  17. I don't like Dig Out Your Soul, the album, much. it's bearable lah..but it's not fresh, exciting and is damn Beatles ripoff lah srsly. Except Falling Down, which was done beautifully partly cos Liam had left the stage, and partly cos there was a spotlight on just Noel. LOVE.
  18. The crowd responded so well..they were damn onzxzz. About the older catalogue especially. There were times where Lord Liam condescended himself to actually applaud the crowd's efforts.

Good timezxzz.

Now ven, to see Oasis in Wembley..or Manchester!! Fk..hometown concerts must be DA BOMB.

And oh..i'm still heartbroken that Jamiroquai isn't performing here :(
