It is so hot here. The past 2 days I've been here, be it sitting on the many well-trimmed, soft and non-dewy grass lawns around campus (like they do in the pictures on the website haha. "We're being Uni students now, i Love it!"- as jeremy said), or just walking from location to location, familiarising myself with the campus (so far, the Commerce Courtyard is my fave place..mostly cos it provides SHADE, and lots of benches under low trees with thick canopies) the SUN is killing me yo.
I literally see my energy bar on my stats depleting. It's terrible..it's as if the life has been sucked outta me. My body is slumped on the sofa like a rag doll, with my now empty water bottle tipped over. I swear i SAW the water inside it evaporate away before my eyes. Sunblock seems to have worked though.
The thing about not knowing any other freshers in uni is that you're alone alot of the time, unless you make friends and talk to people. Like i did with Jeremy. But most of the time I'm not bothered. I would've been bothered about walking around alone in S'pore, and being friendless (my mates don't come down to sydney until next week, since school starts later for them)..but here, I dont give a fk man. I don't care what people think about me either. It's quite liberating. And I can look people in the eye without worrying about whether they're gonna react favourably with a smile or not. I can be as open or as wallflower-ish as i want to be. People watching is so much more worth it too.
I have space.
Edit: this is AWESOMEE!!! they're showing Secret Diary of a Call Girl on telly here! Billie Piperrr :D
