Let's Stay Together

I want to say the SICKNESS that was M.I.A (obviously lip synching. i dont blame her man, it was her frickin due date. she shouldn't even have been on stage goddamit) plus Lil Weezy, The King T.I., Kanye (whatswith the hair) and Jay hova, together on stage at the Grammy's was the best performance of the night.

Oh come on, Jay looked the flyest. And Queen Latifah's intro, where she essentially called them the modern day Rat Pack :D when i heard that i knew we was in for something DOPE.

And it bloody well was dope. Legendary. And MIA killed it in her infinite pregnant-ness and awesomeness and ridiculous outfit that i've seen Agyness Deyn in before and her kickass dance moves. Please give it up for MIA, now.

And heyy Rahman won big at the BAFTA's later that day, for Slumdog :D :D Slumdog in general won big hahaha waht am i saying!

Oh ok back to the video i'm plugging. This is Radiohead performing 15 Step off In Rainbows, which really should've won Viva La Vida for Best Rock Album come to think of it, but oh well. Lol at Gwyneth Paltrow presenting it! I bet it was Chris she winked at at the end of her intro ;)

Thom Yorke is made of supreme win, and gosh i love his hair like that. And whoever's genius idea it was to get the USC marching band in the perfomance, kudos to you. It was so good, I immediately texted Karthik to tell him that he had to watch it on youtube immediately cos it's fkin ACE.

Is it just me or was The Grammy's rather blue this year? I'm talking about the colour scheme, and by exetension the mood. It was all rather sombre, and controlled..considering it was supposed to be a celebration of music. Really, there was a lot of the colour blue..from the colour of dresses to the sets. And the most exciting thing about the red carpet was Ryan Seacrest telling Paris Hilton that she looked "distractingly beautiful" or something to that extent. (Love that expression!). Blink 182 reuniting was rather exciting!! And Greenday coming on last (char, their album drops in May, which your probably already knew). Al Green and JT were on form man. But it was still mostly..blue.

As for the winners, SO CHUFFED for coldplay :D A bit miffed about MIA not winning anything..i would've really been pumping my fist and dancing around the house if that had happened. respekt for Robert Plant, but that really shouldn't have been Record of the Year c'monn.
