I prefer these group hugs one to those of individual players, cos they speak of a togetherness and team spirit that is evidently no longer there in the squad.
They are no longer the cohesive, mechanical (mechanical can be good sometimes. that way you get results) squad that delivers. The team has lost its self respect. They are no longer feared.
I absolutely hate seeing the team come up with one restrained, passionless performance after another. What happened to the 4-0 and 5-0 wins at the start of the season?!
They are a half-fk bunch of dispirited players who turn up to work with bad attitudes and at this rate, we're not gonna get any silverware. We are bloody lucky that our rivals are as inconsistent as us.
Oh yes, I'm supremely disappointed with JT getting a straight red for that reckless challenge at the Everton match. It's out of character- but at the same time the cracks are starting to show.
