Music you were playing really blew my mind/ It was love - at first sight

it's only appropriate that my itunes search is locked on to all Kylie hits *dances*

HOW DO YOU GET OVER A CONCERT AS AWESOME AS THAT.

It's impossible. It'll take a while. I've literally had visual flashbacks of the extravagant sets and the images on the back of the screen . Ok hold on, let me do a pictorial illustration.

The intro was this song called Speakerboxx, and yeah, this was when the visuals were wicked awesomest!! K FOR KYLIE YA'LL! i couldmake a tonneof alliteration jokes, but i'll spare you.
I screamed so much i pretty much lost my voice about a third into the show hahaha

krazy kool.
There was so much effort put into the light and screen show. The ticket prices were WELL worth it.

Oh kylie you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind.
She was ADORABLE in that cheerleader costume (plus she did that other song with Calvin Harris off X, called heart beat rock, which is very electro/cheer. LOVED IT)
She's superior to kanye in the sense that her repertoire is so diverse, she came with all the trimmings (choreography, costumes, full stage set, merchandise..did i mention there was NO MERCHANDISE at kanye? what the fk.) AND most importantly there was plenty of audience interaction. She acknowleged the drag queens in the audience (aka ivan heng, emma yong and co..who came dressed to the nines..feather boas, sequinned dresses, platform stripper shoes, the works!) and was all LAYDEEES, before launching into the beginning of Rupaul's "Supermodel"..WORK! Work it girl! Do your thing, on the runway..know that song? YEAH KYLIE IS BASICALLY MADE OF PURE WIN.

This set was amazing. She appeared onstage in a frickin tailcoat! I love the tailored, dapper look..and on a woman? So much hotter. Not too crazy about the female dancers costumes, but the set and the songs made up for anything. After this song she shuffled off her tailcoat and launched into Kids. Kylie + Robbie Williams. *throws hands to the sky..can i get a hallelujah!*
Love that song. But my fave song by her is still Love At First Sight :D
After this visual on the screen, ven and i couldn't help exclaiming how fairy-like and pixie-like she looked, in a clasped hands held to chest-kind of way. *Sigh*
This was when she performed this totally mod hare krishna vibed song called No More Rain..which i'd never heard before but now i can't get enough of it. It's taken over take that's Greatest Day, to put it into perspectiv.
see what i mean by mad visuals? It was a visual feast, an audio epiphany and a musical orgy.
what i loved about the way she performed songs is that everything was reworked either as a remix or as an acoustic piece or as a mashup..it was SO creative and audience friendly. LOVED IT.
i wish you were there to experience it yourself cos no matter how many pictures i put up, or how i describe it, this is the sorta thing you have to experience. It was an EXPERIENCE.
Right then, this is the setlist i got off wiki cos i couldn't for the life of me remember her songs in order. My photographic memory failed me cos i was too visually overwhelmed haha (what a rubbish excuse). I don't think it's necessarily in order in certain parts, but this is it!

She didn't do locomotion..odd! She didn't do the super cheesy Especially For You either. But that's alright..saw the version that she did with Kermit (the frog) on "An Audience With Kylie Minogue" on the Biography Channel..too cute *shakes head*
Sensory overload, that's what it was. It more Glow in the Dark than Kanye's gig, ha. Flashing lights, MAD visuals on the massive screen, amazing routines, at least 6/7 costume changes -WOO!!! Jean Paul Gaultier! You're allowed to be over the top when you're 5'4" and as BEAUTIFUL as kylie. Every time her face showed up on the lil screens at th sides of the stage, MY GOD her face is a breathtaking kind of beautiful..her perfect nose, her gloriously blue eyes, that shade of red lipstick *melts*.
The woman is TINY but she has such stage presence that she overshadowed everything that was happening around her, which is hard to do when your dancers are in elaborate costumes, and your backing band is exceptional, and have i not mentioned the MAD VISUALS? Everything complemented each other perfectly and as Vennie pointed out it was such a cohesive production. So well thought out, so well executed, and ultimately, PURE ENTERTAINMENT. I was there to be entertained and I DAMN well was :D
Yeah i was there to PARTAY too, and PARTAAAAYYY i did (dancing in the aisles, singing at the top of your voice is very very therapeutic) I would describe her music as electropop and that's just perfect to dance to. They had a DJ on for the hour we had to wait before the concert started at 9-ish and he played everything from Britney to Fedde Le Grand to TIGA to Justice (kenn, you would've loved it). From the beginning when they dropped the black curtain and the crowd went wild, to when she reached the high notes on an operatic, epic version of I Believe In You and we got goosebumps, to when she thanked the crowd for waiting for her to come to S'pore(this is her first time here..she was supposed to come in 06 but that was when she was diagnosed with breast cancer), to being the absolute sweetheart that she was the crowd all throughout, i enjoyed myself thoroughly.
I want to watch it ALL OVER AGAIN.
