Incredible.
Absolutely incredible.
Enjoyed myself SO MUCH..it was like being in a club with just one killa track after another, and when you hear the intro of a song you know and like, you turn to your mate and scream like a mofo cos you're so damn excited. well ok, i do that, i dunno about you.
The gig started off with "Good Morning"
-"Wake up Mr West, Mr West, Mr Fresh"..and the oooooh-ooooh-ing bit by Elton John.
Yeezy swaggered on stage in his cream python bomber jacket and red skinnies and air jordans and ray bans and fkin BURNED THE STAGE yo..the fker has moves!! Nah he didn't pull any chris brown/neyo-esque MJ moves..but he did this tribal flailing thing that's similar to MIA in the Galang vid..damn relack jack and free flowing. I was well impressed with his stage presence, considering the damn stage was so boringly shaped and sparse. Speaking of which, i was rather disappointed that the full live orchestra wasn't there..yeah the venue was probably too small..how UNFORTUNATE, srsly ): And there wasn't no kubric-esque light show or mad visuals, like at his bigger shows. And like ven pointed out, he didn't even have a costume change!
But quite honestly, I can find it in myself to forgive all that cos Ye made up for it with his intensity. For me, he's the less witty/acerbic/cheeky version of Robbie Williams (LOVE) but their persona's are both pure arrogance and cockiness (though we didn't get any of that at all from kanye..he was quite polite on the contrary! well except for N-NOW TH-TH-THROW YA MUTHAFKIN HANDS (GET EM HIGH) bit ;) They're both Entertainers, first and foremost. Let Meeeee, Entertain You!
It was magic, the way he got the crowd going. And everyone knew the lyrics :D :D Plus he threw in a coupla "Singapores" in dem rap solos..like on Good Life, on that bit where he lists the states.."it feel like Philly, it feel like D.C., it feel like Singapore" haha. Oh yeah, on Good Life..he went quiet on the bit "cause they got (more ass than the models)" and the crowd filled in for him HAHAHAHAA!! the audience was made of win!

about 2 hours worth of live music? not bad at all. hit after hit, kapow! shazaam! it was energy and showmanship (i'm still miffed about the lack of the live string section ) and overall SUPER FANTASTISCH.
