he was with Jo Whiley on radio 1's live lounge and he did an AMAZING cover of Estelle & Kanye's American Boy(i love that song, oh yes i do). Speaking of Estelle, she's done a 180 from her "1980" days hasn't she! i remember she did a collabo with So Solid Crew aka the definitive urban UK garage group. "21 Seconds" anyone? ok back to Estelle. she's looking gawjus (though i quite liked her street style" from a coupla years back) and i wish BBC Prime would just show the newer episodes of Later With Jools Holland already! cos she's on. and so are other brits.

i'm about as excited as him as i was about Calvin Harris! slick beats a la Goldfrapp and his voice exudes a soul/funk vibe. yeah, he's like a male (alison) goldfrapp- how enticing. i can and i will look past the gh3y-ness. now, he just needs to release an album so i can see if the rest of his music is any good.
