Que sera, sera, What ever will be, will be, We're going to Wembley

i promise, no pictures.
exciting weekend this. tennis, footie AND golf..crikey

firstly, pool vs havant & waterlooville, which accidentally came out as "havant & watercool...uh..." (from my mouth) earlier in the week. they were on sposrtcentre, all chuffed about going to the Kop. i understand lah, they were from a small town in a league 5 rungs below the premiership team PLUS they were average joes whose footballing was more of a part-time thing (they train only twice a week apparently). yeh, lucky bastards, got to play against the big guns :) they were brilliant while it lasted though!

but first, a note about H&W jerseys. technically, their sponsors should be sued.
"Carlsberg: Probably the best beer in the world", rings a bell?
It said "Probably" in the Carlsberg font AND it had the little crown symbol that's on the Carlsberg logo too...!!!!

when they started off, the play looked quite amateur lah(even the liverpudlians mind you)..at halftime andy leci labelled it "schoolboy defending" cos the damn ball wasn't being cleared properly and it was in the bloody air half the time. but boy oh boy, were these truant officesrs and plumbers hardly hapless. DUDE they were ahead (read: leading) twice during the match! squishy hobbit love for Alfie Potter who scored and who got Gerrard's jersey at the end of the match

lucas' goal though, was seh-weet. tralala pool won 5-2, but whatever. H&W played with heart and hoboy what an exciting/entertaining match. yay havant!

but look, i'm not always behind the "giant killers" as underdogs are labelled nowadays. case-in-point..i wasn't behind Tsonga for the mens' finals for the Aussie Open. i can't say i was behind djokovic either, even though it was pretty apparent that as world no. 3 he was gonna put Tsonga away. i think i was (and am) still extremely miffed about him "giant killing" off Federer in the semis. That was unfortunate. Roger was going for his 11th consecutive grand slam finals. maybe if tiger woods was there cheering his buddy on, he might've done better? (who am i kidding)

speaking of Tiger, he's playing at the Buick Invitational this weekend. currently 18-under at 198 he's so far ahead of the rest of the pack, they might as well not play the 4th round and give him the trophy already. Federer was in that type of form at one point of time..i hope this dent in his record at melbourne won't spell the end of his Pwnage days (he's won 3 of the grand slams, 3 times each) CMON ROGER! roland garros next! (rafa you going DOWN)

back to tennis again, Bhupathi/Mirza and Zimonjic/Sun in the mixed doubles finals. AIYA, what a waste lah! sania should just decide on one event and stick to it and focus her training on that instead of entering ALL 3 events (ie: singles, doubles, mixed) and straining/injuring herself to the point that she jeopardised the chance to win her first grand slam co-title. AARGH.

well actually, there's cricket also lah..australia and india in adelaide, but india isn't doing so well so..i'm not feeling in a very chak de india mood *shrug*

Hey I'm so happy that Djokovic won cos Fed's head is getting too big! For such a small club, they've got pretty big bucks in Flavio Briartore and Bernie Ecclestone lar
