on monday, instead of mugging throughout the day for Stats and maybe even a bit for lit paper 4, i watched 6 hours straight of Concert for Diana.

from 10am-4pm, it was just spectacular and i was hooked. i watched every single act but the highlight has GOT to be Tom Jones doing a cover of the Monkey's "I Bet You Look Good On The Danceflood" with Joe Perry on guitar

this is HISTORY.
Duran Duran RULEZXZXZZZ!! and um, Donny Osmond aka my favourite Joseph. The Feeling is LOVE..i'd pay to watch them..they're as spot on live as Muse is! I loved Lily Allen's dress and KANYE's supergigantofantastich medley including Stronger which samples daftpunk= WIN!! i didnt know Roger Hodgson was still alive :P i thought Rod Stewart might dislocate his hip HEE and the cherry on the cake- Take That!
it was just exceedingly well put together, the little snippets of "Diana and Me" and i haven't cried that much since an Oprah episode on the joy of giving to others (the one where she gave all her audience members a 1000 bucks to spend on other people and they were equipped with sony handicams to chronicle their success. that was just, so selfless and overwhelming and i can only imagine what it must feel like to make others so happy) we shall never have another Diana. God keeps all his favourite angels up there..but we are blessed to have had her while we did
heck it was worth it. the 6 hours.
