the macca-tron

for netta.
the only one i know who can appreciate macca. case in point: sitting through his album played on a loop in starbucks while taking notice of 2 v chatty spanish dudes, one of whom looks like an "indian george clooney"
:D
that one's for keepers!

anyhoo, macca apparently played a secret gig at Camden on 7th june! BLOODY HELL how come i didn't know about it. you see su; see how happening london is?! aaaack 7th June was the day we went to madame tussaud's and stamford bridge. ok given we didn't come under the category of "competition winners and invited guests" :p but you know! just to stand outside the Electric Ballroom with a paper sign saying "MACCA-TRON: Robot In Disguise" would've been awesome enough *lol at self*

look at the setlist lah-

'Drive My Car'
'Only Mama Knows'
'Dance Tonight'
'C Moon'
'The Long And Winding Road'
'I'll Follow The Sun'
'Calico Skies'
'That Was Me'

'Here Today'
'Back In The USSR'
'Nod Your Head'
'House Of Wax'
'I've Got A Feeling'
'Matchbox'
'Get Back'

'Lady Madonna'
'I Saw Her Standing There'

to see Macca on the mandolin. now..THAT my friends, is worth it all.

over the weekend there was the Muse gig at Wembley. i deliberately stayed away from anything to do with the buildup to both gigs on the 16th and 17th cos well..HEARTPAIN lah. heartpain that i wasn't gonna be there with the 90000 other muse fans at their biggest gig yet and the biggest gig the new wembley has seen

oh....i can't bring myself to say anymore. read more here
the setlist was perfect. except that they didn't do Muscle Museum *__* (odd!) nor Assassin. instead they did Unintended. whaaa ?__? nevermind, the rest of the set is still ACE.

i hope to God that this issue of NME is still available at Borders or something..if anyone happens to be going there and sees it could you please do me a MASSIVE favour and get it for me PLEAAASSEE???!!! (it just HAD to come out the week after i left england)

this gem of a pic was in the previous week's NME, the one we saw while mucking around at ASDA while waiting for Aunty Poh Siew to do her grocery shopping with a packet of Walkers Thai Sweet Chilli Crisps, a Dr. Who sticker pack and a thank you card. (did you know that Dr.Who #10 David Tennant was originally David McDonald and his change in surname was inspired by Pet Shop Boys' lead singer Neil Tennant..righteous dude!! :D )

abbey road forever. ok this one was some backlot in Stockholm but it'll do! :)
