do i stand alone?

don't go :(

in other news... The Namesake. featuring the lush music of nitin sawhney, need i say more?

and i dunno if i've mentioned this before but i feel utterly displaced..being indian and never having been to the "motherland" before even though i don't really have family there and there's no family home or whatever (its all in malaysia you see). its an inextricable connection that i feel needs to be addressed. and an on a more selfish note, i want to be belittled by the majesty of the Taj Mahal. that's all i ask. even if i don't get to try roadside chaat or go sari shopping i dont mind. just let me lay my eyes on and touch the marble of what Tagore described as "a tear that would hang on the cheek of time". top that.

Bulla Ki Jaana Maen Kaun (bulla, i know not who i am) -for those who share my sentiments

hey i've never been to China either... what we know about our culture and identity as Chinese/ Indian is evitably diluted. But arguably the culture in China/India now are being diluted as well...globalisation sucks.
