skribbles of the anjaxive wunderkind: MUN is a verb

Day 1:

LYCHEE FRANK-ICE, ha! bouillabaisse to you too.

Human Rights yo!! way up on the 4th floor, which is a footache to get to with heels on. their classroom ate lit by natural light..in other words, one of the walls of the room is just tempered glass panels.

the signs were pretty much all in French..but i know that bibliothèque= library, hehe.. cos its the same in German too :) Bibliothek. and they have an in-school swimming pool and 4-lane track and rugby field (just like us haha). they also have a pool table and smoke breaks, complete with coffee. coffee and cigarettes. (oh i wasn't talking about the teachers there ;) )

their cafeteria's v american school-esque. the kind you see in movies..with the lunch line and the lunch ladies(and men). lunch was boiled baby potatoes, tossed in butter and oregano (?) jamie oliver-style, boiled carrots, fish with some tomato-based sauce, delifrance rolls with mushroom soup, watermelon slices and get this..delifrance eclairs :D <3 Now we know what we're missing out on hel-loooo!

and today there was couscous (!!!!) with peas and mash and fish again (there was biryani and masala chicken with dahl as the other alternative..no thanks i get enough of that :P ), fresh apples, leek soup and CHOCOLATE PUDDING! what a waste i didnt call dibs that we'd get pudding today..i predicted that while in the toilette. okok, tmr we're getting creme brulee!

as for the other delgates, international school kids are a whole different ball game (but they're oodles more fun..guhh)..and then there're the pain in the ass local kids. i shan't say anymore...other than eh JOKER shadup and sit down already! ok i'm done with that bit.

so basically there;s a whole lotta decorum with a lot of 3rd person speaking and pseudo poilteness..its quite pretentious but cool. diplomacy my young 'uns. and speechmaking. and debating. and yielding. and points of information. and note-passing through the securitaries (that bits fun..nyehehe..cos sometimes you discuss dealings of a highly undiplomatic nature)
