the Kooks! vs Razorlight. its a full on WAR yo! Tupac vs Biggie Smalls standard. (ok i kid, i keeed) but anyways, as for who wins.. (razorlight has my vote. shucks *hides*..netta's gonna kill me)
The Fratellis! firstish, they're sco'ish, like paolo nutini (who's italian AND scottish PHWOAR). and the second italian connexion is that fratelli is sorta like fraternity which connotates brotherood, italian mafioso style. y/n? epsilon sigma alpha anyone?

let us give credit where its due. JEANETTE CHIA S.H. aka netta; on behalf of everyone who has been blessed enough to watch the rollicking ruckus that is The Mighty Boosh, THANK YOU for the intro. Mos Def(haha i stole your text-opener) the best thing that has happened since Top of the Pops (hey! TOTP was da bomb ok!!). and Delia SMith's how to cook. and Top Gear. and Eastenders. and What Not to Wear. and Dr. Who (which i dont like very much but secretly watch). and goodness gracious me. and Absolutely fabulous. its true, its true. BRIT ENTERTAINMENT RULEZZ and i cant shout it out from the mountain tops enough.

"I am an antichrist
I am an anarchist
Dont know what I want but
I know how to get it
I wanna destroy the passer by cos i
I wanna be- anarchy !"
*imitates sex pistols wannabe tourette's punk point*
vince noir. i mean Noel Fielding aka one half of goth detectives (along with Russell Brand who was the crazy bastard who hosted the Brits this year) and more imporantly, one half of The Mighty Boosh. oh wait, there's naboo and bollo too. so he's one quarter. GUH am i forgetting someone??
Howard Moon, i mean Julian Barrat. whom i thought was Carl Barat's (of Dirty Pretty Things fame) bro or couz or summat. i believe this is the outfit from my fave episode netta!! the one with "Some call me Domino- the bounty hunter" :P x28498340
and of course, my favourite boys. did you REALLY think i'd do a UK "indie" picspam without em?! *incredulous look*
mirrorrrrr. too cool yo!
guess what's playing now? Butterflies & Hurricanes- the live recording from the Fort Canning gig *smug grin*
at the temple, my gramps asked the priest what he thought about india's uncermonious exit from the cricket world cup. the english translation of what he said would be, "my heart broke". i dunno if its cos even a man of God is saying it, but that was heartwrenching. cricket is in the lifeblood of the yindians...not so much the diaspora per se, but yeah, cricket is the equalizer. from the lakshmi mittals in em big office buildings to the tiffin wallas on the streets. ok i forgot where i was going with this..but yes. is cricket worth watching when india isn't playing anymore? convince me G...
*sings* You make a grown man cryyyy.
the Stones save the day..

The Kooks win cause they told me to "hold on to your kite" and i have lived to tell the tale!
Wow the acrobatics, look at the keyboardist on the right! But i prefer Pennie heeheehee (not the GMTV one).
JULIAN AND NOEL!!
You used the best pic possible for Noir. I dunno what Vince quote to put here, enough of "crunchy friends in a liquid broth"? Nope! Hey Howard Moon (cream poet aka bounty hunter aka..jazz maverick!!! )
