and by means of drawing lots(fair or otherwise), i've been chosen to be the Slovak ambassador. (oya peya som was deemed too un-glam :P) perfect. JUST perfect. i was the one that recommended Saudi Arabia and we actually managed to secure Saudi Arabia as one of the countries we were representing, but Noooo!, i got put in the Slovakia team (as i found out yesterday, by means of drawing effing lots again) i can't help feeling BITTER about the whole thing. but at the end of it all, pragmatism wins as always, and i say to myself: SUCK IT UP SOLDIER!

on a less whinging&whining note, i finally sorted out my swing with Coach and i'm hitting 90-100 with a half swing. my swing kinda went on hiatus for a good 24 days as a result of lack of time on the course/range outside CCA hours. partly its also the desire to impress that has sorted me out. plus i'ma gonna have to step it up notchloads- for position and for self validation.

P.S.: all quotes in parantheses are from "Shantaram", the gem of a book by Gregory David Roberts
in keeping with the Muse love which hasn't seemed to have waned at all, "when will this loneliness be over?"
