where were you in 92

i believe the answer to that question is Sarada Kindergarten, which, on saturday gave me incentive to ace my A's.
('effective marketing plays on fulfilling the consumer's desires in the form of providing an incentive'...why thank you PEE_DOUBLE U.)

anyways big up MIA, the pretty lankan to the left who has a new track yo! shout out to jeanetta again, and perhaps the g-ster :) pls have a listen here..
electronic experimentation/straight up hip hop..the track is SICK :)
and even Zane Lowe plugged it..so yeah, this is the new s**t. new album out next year with the first track off it being 'bird flu'..plus 'Grapes' is gonna be on there too..\\m//

the metallica-esque lightning writing :P too cool, too cool...

<-- the lankan live..mad togs! get in touch with your culture kids...i highly recommend The Kalinga Trilogy, playing at the esplanade theatre studio until tmr night.

kulcha for the masses..and especially a re-education for indians themselves. tongue-in cheek, in your face, thought-provoking and ultimately a stepping stone for self discovery.

and even if you can't go for that, Rudra reinventing hindu slokas and chants at the outdoor theatre..it was MAGICAL. myspace!
ESPECIALLY the track called "ageless conciousness"..not so much the 'satanic' screaming, but the thaipusam-esque drums in the background and the wicked wicked lead guitar riff. the track that had jags and myself gobsmacked :O

and to think that sparked off this post..grace's "Galangal" :D
