teeny weeny V-spoiler

oh did i mention, there's a bollywood-y sounding track at the end of V for Vendetta? like serious indian subcontinent shite yo! God bless the wachowski bros for embracing indian culture as they have done so before in the matrix trilogy. ESPECIALLY The Matrix Revolutions. the parallels with hindu culture were just too in your face to ignore. and the song that played during the rolling of the credits, "Navras" is what pushed me to get the OST. well, the Reloaded OST was pretty good also lah, so i knew i wouldn't be disappointed. coming back to Navras, the lines used are from The Upanishads (go wikipedia that..it'll take AGES to explain). basically they translate to : "lead us from untruth to truth, lead us from darkness to light, lead us from death to immortality, peace peace peace"

and i clearly remember reciting some of those lines along with Swamiji and everyone else who was there at the Ramakrishna Mission Spiritual Retreat in 200-something. when everyone recited them together there was this omnipotent spiritual power that i swear i could feel. but i'll tallk about my spiritual experiences some other time. the aranda and vanda courses at the OCC beckon!
