ics orientation

i honestly never thought i'd actually care about ICS (indian cultural society)..having come from the anderson tldds which was quite simply put, rubbish.it was poorly run, poorly managed, had crap leadership and uninspired members. but the NY ics is really something else.they got it covered man..

puyal is an inter-school drama competition thingy with stuff like dances and skits and live singing thrown in. all in all its a massive production run without ANY school support, mind you, and its been done successfully for the last dunno how many years already.

so today we had the orientation where we got to meet our fellow indians.. and most of the J2's. NY people are a good looking bunch yaar! but besides that, they're terrific people who're genuinely so nice and accomodating and just plain lovely.and they sure know how to have fun.

so yes it is confirmed that i'll be working with mr.thalaivan on the puyal magazine(woohoo!). and the J1's are doing the cultural dance segment during puyal. but the problem is..none of us have any cultural dance experience. HAHA..dunno how they're gonna sort THAT one out. but we all definitely have to dance. whoopdeedoo
its all gonna be confirmed next week and there's a meeting that clashes with d&j(oh great) and touch rugby! oh gosh...
