first school then the golden globes:
school was very..interesting today.
my geog teacher, is this hello kitty freako and had so much pink stuff on her, my eyes hurt. but she's such a sweetheart that i just had to "suspend my disbelief" and show off to her that i knew the answer to some question about plate movements even though i hadn't done pure geog in sec 3 and 4. Ha! Bill Nye the science guy has saved me yet again.

then we had the all dreaded PE. and it truly was dreadful. i stupid stupid ran 6 rounds around the track properly unlike most of the people who ran only 5. wahlao. and there were like SEVEN ct's there at once so it was madness. and the PE coordinator dude, mr victor, used to be a commando, so he made us do pumping on the track(my knees were bloodied and now they're scabbed..bloody hell) and then he made all of us run in the mud momentarily and my beloved pumas got ruined. AARGH! i keel you!!

then carol and i didnt have econs like the rest of the class did so we chilled in the canteen and did math and laughed about cheap oreos and my silly habit of washing away that stupid powder nonsense they put on slices of guava cos i hated the tangy taste.

i realised that i ended up doing a lot more math the rest of the day..i'm like some math junkie now. *shudder* while waiting for our CT session to start i did math.while the J1 gang in the ICS were preparing some SAJC competition thing, i was doing math. while waiting for touch rug to start, i did math. eeyur..

went home sometime around 12+ to have lunch and watch the golden globes post-show thingy on E! until my lit lesson at 215.(muahahaha) lit was fantastic as usual. miss kwok told us about Quills, this singaporean play based on the story of the marquis de sade.i'd heard about it but i hadn't actually bothered much cos it was rated R(21) and i knew i wasn't gonna be able to watch it anyways. it is from his name that the word Sadism was derived.he was most well known for his violent pornographic work. he's a damn sick bastard lah basically. so much for that..

blah blah blah went up to the ICS room, hung out with the J2's summore,{kiren, vignesh, thulasi, ranitha, kuga, devi are all ROCKING ppl..to quote karan johar} can't wait to start dance practice. yes basically that's it for school.

now the Golden Globes.nat portman looked GORGEOUS as you can see in the pic.she's really working the pixie cut.frickin peter pan! her makeup was perfect, the dress was perfect and she did'n't even have to accessorise much! thats the beauty of it all. all she had was that lil brooch. absolutely wow. V for Vendetta! looking forward to it since last year actually and the wait is killing me!! adrien looked fly..well duh, he was outfitted by Zegna. i tell you, zegna clothes are like made for him and him alone. they just fit and look so darn good on him. he's zegna's muse.

other than that here are a few key things about the GG's:
  • zhang ziyi...what is UP with the victory sign-jap girl thing man! woman! you're at the golden globes for God's sakes. that is NOT cool! (she looked like she did a fantastic job in memoirs of a geisha though..and green looks so good on her)
  • ang lee won for brokeback mountain! woohoo! representing the asians :D well done and yes, xing yen kuai ler.(happy chinese new year) i SOOO wanna watch the movie but i can't. cos i;m not 18. dang. its not the gay thing that fascinates me..its the supposed depth of the story that makes it so incredible,or so i've heard/read/seen.
  • LOST won too! WOOHOO! i wish they'd hurry up and show season 2 already. i didnt watch the 5 hour marathons on AXN just to have to wait ages and ages for the next season to start showing.
  • wunderkind by alanis morissette off the narnia soundtrack was nominated(as mentioned in a previous entry) but didn't win. awww...kong didnt win anything either. so sad..
  • john williams won best composer or best score or something.DUH. might as well have spared him the trouble of making his gajillionth acceptance speech and just fed ex-ed the statuette to him as soon as they told him he was nominated.
  • grey's anatomy is a brilliant show. almost as good as House..but more ER. sandra oh won and she went ker-azy. and she really shouldn't have worn a dress that would've looked loads better on a more 'filled-out' woman, if you catch my drift.
  • jonathan rhys-meyers. i fell in love with him the first time i saw him on bend it with beckham..that accent, those blue as blue eyes, those aquiline features the fact that he, ok his CHARACTER, was so open to a relationship with an indian girl.in real lifem he's with this gorgeous girl called Reena Hammer. i dunno bout you but Reena SURE sounds indian to me ;) she looks anglo-indian..but indian all the same. good on ya johnny.

ok thats enough for today
