unfortunately frank lampard didn't play in yesterday's chelsea matchup against manchester city thus ending his ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FOUR consecutive appearances in league games for chelsea.thats the record. so sad.he caught a virus and had to back out like ten mins before the match started and was replaced by eidur gudjohnsen.

chelsea eventually won 1-0 and extended their lead at the top of the table to a margin of 11 points. as mourino himself said, the rest of the team won it for lamps. if you didnt already know,frank has been and still is integral to chelsea's success so it was pretty tough playing without him. but anyways chanced upon this pic and fell in love with it. its just such a natural shot and there's just this innocence(?) in his eyes. i dunno what else to say really. lamps is love.
