todo para la familia...and metallica

ok the title is from the hit show on nickelodeon, "the brothers garcia". john leguizamo of moulin rouge fame (he was tolouse, the lil dwarf man with a lisp) narrates the show, and at the end of every show he says "todo para la familia"which means, All for the family. i thought it was appropriate for this particular post cos i havent actually said much about my family, or have i?

oh well moving in. the young man in the pic is my cousin murali who first intro-ed me to metallica, so have a lot to thank him for :) excellent at school and such a gentleman, who helped me get through my rough spot yesterday by talking me through the history of metallica. "it was the booze that did them in", he says. and he agrees that the album St anger was rubbish. even the current metallica lineup just plays one or two songs from their new stuff and then admits that its bollocks, and move on to play stuff from their old catalogue. but i'd much rather hear apocolyptica than metallica themselves. compromise my friends. if not for apocolyptica i wouldn't have appreciated metallica as much ok? they proved to me that metallica's music had melody..not some erratic guitar strumming, drum smashing nonsense. and just think about it, doesnt the name Metallica sound so incredibly cool? like Rock Gods or something. all i have to say is, UP THE IRONS!
