chelsea won against arsenal and thats all fine and dandy.particularly loved the fact that Jose shook hands with his three right-hand men with 2 mins of extra time left as a congartulatory gesture.
but someone in the chelsea squad absolutely (and i mean ABSOLUTELY) pissed me off. *through clenched teeth* didier drogba i want to wring your neck SO HARD and punch you until my knuckles need reconstructive surgery!
firstly i hate him for being the biggest kaypoh the footballing world has ever seen. he thinks he's the bloody captain or something! there were a total of seven yellow cards give out in total during this particular match, of which 4 went to chelsea players. and everytime a fellow chelsian got booked he was there to "negotiate". EFF OFF LAH BLOODY BASKET! (i am so tempted to type out the uncensored version) and to quote ian darke who commentated, "drogba will talk to whoever will listen". HA! so true! this was said after essien unintentionally tripped van persie i think, and the ref called him aside to give him a warning. so while the ref was talking with essien, drogba went off to the sidelines to get some water and he started discussing it with paolo ferreira who was SO obviously uninterested. so he moved on to have a chat with ARSENE WENGER himself! who the BLOODY hell does he think he is? goes and disses toure about arsenal during the ivory coast training camp, for having lost to chels the previous time and then suddenly he's some big shot player who can talk to opposing team's managers like they were old friends. !!!!.
when joe scored, i was just extremely irritated to see drogba congratulating him cos he(drogba) had nothing to do with the goal at all. he was completely and utterly useless the entire time, having a stroll throughout a good part of the match, waiting for the bloody ball to come into his path so that he can score fluke goals. unlike joe cole who actually runs his heart out for the ball and plays it spectacularly most of the time, cos half the time he ends up getting trampled or beat up by the opposing side's defense.
and i still cannot forgive drogba for TRIPPING john terry two matches ago, when he was running towards mourinho for..a hug.(haha that sounded SO wrong). drogba wanted to congratulate him SO bad that he lunged at terry and ended up bringing him down instead. how embarrassing! and john looked furious although he tried to mask it. all drogba wanted was to appear on the big screens in the stadium. asshole.
and as much as i wanted chels to win, i still think drogba should've been carded for time wasting when he was called off the pitch to be replaced by Huth. walk faster lah! even the fourth official was signalling to him to get a move on. i really can't stand him. i'd much rather have crespo get a permanent place in the team then mourinho having to switch between the two strikers. ergh. so pissing-offing.
and poor lamps got majorly injured :( not major enough for him to sit out games but there was bloodshed.reminds me of the time Vivek got his head banged up on that faulty bumper car ride at the lil india fair opposite mustafa centre 2 years ago, and there was blood trickling all down the back and sides of his head. and he had to get stitches ok. ...i dont wanna talk about that incident anymore. it was a very panicky situation and i didnt like one bit of it.
in the case of lamps, he got elbowed or something on the left side of his head, its still unclear to me as to how the actual gash came about but he got taken off for a good 3 mins and got a bandage wrapped around his head. and there was still dried blood down the left side of his face.God bless him. even though he was injured, managed to feed cole the 2nd winning ball.
and to add to the blood already shed, he got knocked about once again towards the end of the game and i think he must've moved a tooth or two, cos he was spitting out blood into a handkerchief.blood just makes me feel nervous and extremely uneasy, i'm getting squeamish just typing about it. hopefully lamps gets taken care of soon enough. wouldn't want him to miss a match and end his 150+ unbeaten run of full 90-min game appearances.
well at least chels won. even though that goal by van Persie really should've been allowed. and henry had so many shots on target but as usual cech was on form, bad day for Arse i guess.
thats all. and really truly hope that lamps stays loyal to chels and doesnt move to barca. that would be absolutely heart-breaking :(
